It was a horrendous challenge. Summed up by the fact that Dalglish didn't even make a fuss about it when he saw it again on the TV. If he's not moaning then its 100% the right decision. He's been doing it for years, bout time he got his comeuppance.

It was a sending off...but then again it i didn't think it was a penalty.

I just don't agree with footballers being sent off for being aggressive in a contact sport. Like I say, I'll comment again when I see it at HT, but I think it was a yellow.

Theres been aggressive and then theres flinging yourself two footed through the air after a ball you can't win.

The penalty isn't, but from Webb's view I can see why he gave it

The sending off when viewed from behind is a definite red. Side on, maybe not but go on I'll eat humble pie (no Wiganer jokes) and say it was red.

Gerrard is an idiot. You cannot say it any different to that. What does he expect the referee to do?
