I like the game, but it runs a bit slower than previous editions on my machine which is a tad frustrating, feel like i'm waiting alot more, kind of lost the fluency. 3D stuff is ver ygood though, when you score a pearler it looks quality.'"
Not bad, I seem to struggle scoring, too.
I'm up there with the top scorers in the league, but when I'm having 20+ shots a game, I'd be expecting to be winning by 3 or 4, not scraping wins in the last 10. |

If you say, top half finish, they give you £59m.
If you say, European Qualification via League Position, they give you £73m.
I didn't say i'd win the league, but I presume circa 100m.
Nobody half decent is intersted in joining you though, quite frustrating. I was that depressed I signed Joleon Lescott for £12m. |

Uninstalled FM07 and it wont read the disc to re-install it so that could be a reason it wouldn't go any further, i am very tempted to buy 09 tonight. And try pick up a cheap copy of 07.

Have not had a CM/FM game since the split but I'm tempted now.
Reading the reviews people are saying that there are a ridiculous amount of injuries keeping your players out for long periods. Anyone else say the same?

It was exactly the same with FM08 straight out of the box, large number of red cards and disallowed goals too. These things usually get fixed in a patch to make levels more realistic. |

Just a tip I picked up from reading on the net.. Offer all the players you don't want to City for a slightly reduced fee. For instance, I offered them Aurelio for £4.3 million. They made a bid and then I knocked it up to £9million. They made a final offer and I accepted. Someone on a forum reckons they got £14.25m for Pennant and £12m for Aurelio!

First they offered about £22m (I think) for Rooney, I replied saying £40m and they accepted.
Second time they bid about £40m for Ronaldo, I negotiated for £69m and they agreed.
Look how sheet he was in my first season though. Good riddance.

Well bought game today works without the patch but not the patch. Because my Mac is on the Tiger OS as oppose to Leopard.
Says in Manual it will (10.4) but not on box as i noticed (after the demo worked no problem). So not happy, should hear more tomorrow about issue, but don't want to put it on pc. Never use it. |
