May be a good time to sell as his stock is at a high. As you seen with Alonso and Ronaldo with us, the top draw european players don't tend to stick around for a while. So selling him might be good business. The Red Sox have spent alot of money this winter, I'm not sure how that affects the spending at Anfield. It may be totally unrelated. I don't know enough about Fenway holdings(or whatever they're called).

At least Ken Bates will be happy though if it's a replay £££££££££

I might be the only one but I'm not overwhelmed by the appointment of KD. Yes he is a living legend of the club, but he's not been in management for a while, and I just hope his training and tactics are not stuck in the 80s-90s.

I'll give him a chance and reserve judgment and see what he can do. Main thing is to get the bloody players playing together, that would be a start.
