I think his contract runs out fairly soon so maybe that could be why? Either way he will be getting paid a boat load

what does'nt make sense is why l.f.c have not pursued him after all the fuss about him wanting to join them? is it:

1. villa did'nt want to sell to l.f.c?

2. barry is chasing the cash and really did'nt have any ambition in the 1st place?

I was told a few months ago that Alonso would definatly be leaving the club in the summer apparently him and Gerarred had a bust up and havn't spoken since which also put a strain on his relationship with Beneath-us. I dont know about the first point but the second wouldnt suprise me i guess at the end of the day money talks and im sure the owners of Man City could pay him half a million a week if they wanted although i reckon he will be getting around 100k a week

Glad Man City have signed Gareth Barry, as it means he won't be coming to Liverpool.

I bet the United fans can't wait to sing YSB, and Murderer songs to him in the derby next season.
