De la hoya will probably get more money? Manny is a massive draw of course but I think de la hoya will get him a bit more money in the bank.. and i fancy oscar to win on saturday.

Been having an argument with a mate of mine. Where does DLH rank in the list of all-time greats. Personally I think he's overrated, yes he's beaten some decent champions but Whitiker was robbed and Julio Ceaser Chavez was about 90 when he beat him. Plus he never really dominated in one division for a sustained period, which I think is one of the essential criteria when wanting to be considered an ATG. Plus most damning of all IMO is the fact that whenever he's come up against fellow greats at their peaks (Mosley twice, Trinidad, Mayweather, Hopkins) he's been beaten, some of his defeats were close but not that close.

On the fight... I think is Pacman can get past the first 4 or 5 rounds he has a chance. There is a chance DLH could be weight-drained and lack the stamina to go the distance.

He has and he will rightly be remembered as a great. But he can't be regarded as "true great" for the reasons I mentioned above.

Hoping to go to the Ricky Hatton dinner at the KC Stadium on Tuesday. Should be a good night, providing we can fill a table!
