| Was hoping Terry's red would cost them as I don't rate the guy as highly as everyone else seems too, but a cracking result for Chelsea and good luck to them. That result could have massive implications on the relegation fight with them playing Blackburn the week before.
Regards the fight to stay up, just when I think I know who'll go down a result comes from nowhere. At the minute I have Blackburn and QPR but that's reliant on Spurs pulling their finger out.

| Love them or hate them, what Chelsea did last night was incredible. 2-0 down at the Nou Camp with 10 men and they go on to draw the game and win the tie. I'm not even a Chelsea fan and I was buzzing after watching that one, I'll admit it. It had everything - a red card, a penalty miss, shots off the post, good saves and some quality goals especially Ramires' goal. The Torres goal was written in a script somewhere, that moment was made for his Chelsea career and you can picture every Liverpool fan going livid at that moment. As for Gary Neville's commentary Brilliant!

The guy is a bellend of the highest order
After the Norwich v Man City game, he interviewed Carlos Tevez, who was clealy fouled in the penalty area, but incorrectly booked (the "incident"was cleared up by the pundits at half-time) and says "so Carlos, did you dive?".
COCK
Well done Chelsea, awesome under extreme circumstances.
John Terry? More like John Thomas.
Hang your head in shame

Boring Chelsea. Just park your players and hope to get a break.

| Quote Dita's Slot Meter="Dita's Slot Meter"Hats off to Chelsea.....Arguably the greatest performance in Europe by an English side.
I do hope though that all this media love for Barca can stop now.....All this pass-pass-pass-doing nothing is not good football - its blunt and tedious, and when Messi doesn't fire, they are no better than a mid table Premier side.'"
Spoken like a true premiership fan. If its not long ball it's boring. At a guess I'd say you were an everton or Liverpool fan? Barca play that way because it's hard to defend against for 90 mins and it takes a team full of talent to pull it off. To counter it you have to be mentally strong for 90 mins so as not to lose concentration and be pulled out of position. Barca created more than enough chances to be in the final over the 2 legs but Chelsea were disciplined and with a stroke of luk pulled it off.
I'd rather watch barca than your average hoof the ball up and hope for the best premiership team

I don't deny they are a great side, but the promotion of this sort of football (coupled with the outlawing of any physical contact) has devalued and ruined the game.
Personally, I'd prefer to watch a Man United or a Spurs, playing a high tempo with wide players sort of game, than the passing, chess-like game that Barca promote.....Last night, for all Chelsea's great defence, highlighted how simply keeping the ball isn't enough - It got so tedious and predictable at times, that 10 yard strip on the edge of the Chelsea area must have got worn out, with the monotonous back-and-fro from one wing to the other, most of the time leading to nothing in terms of creating chances.
Has I said, when Messi provides the spark, it all looks validated, but when he is off form, like the last 3 games, it just looks blunt and tedious.

Or you're Wigan Athletic and don't have anyone to provide said spark.
