Makes me laugh over the Wembley pitch. Or any pitch that pro's play on. How many people slug it out on a bog up and down the country every saturday and sunday and have to pay £3 for the pleasure. These pro's get paid £40,000 a week and complain that the grass cut up. Oh boo woo, most people only dream of playing on a surface as good as Wembley.
Also, made me laugh after the League Cup final, James Milner was moaning about the Wembley pitch on the Sunday, yet gegging for a place in the England team on the Wednesday on the same pitch, stop moaning rich kids.
The players just have to deal with the pitch. And they do. But when a game has been clearly affected by the state of the pitch, as it was with both the semis, then obviously the pitch is going to become a talking point.
165,000 people watched the two games at the weekend, the vast majority of them paying ridiculous amounts of money to see the games. They should be getting to see the best matches that the teams can provide, but instead they have to watch both sides doing the best they can while trying desperately not to fall over.
The pitch is an embarrassment and it's obviously going to be a long-term problem. Players, pundits and supporters are going to be talking about the Wembley pitch for a long time.
