Beckham steals another cap on his way to becoming our most capped player.

What exactly is to be gained by giving him 9 minutes at the end of a game in which we are 5-1 up? Wouldn't giving some gametime to a more inexperienced player be more beneficial.

I agree. Fabio says he won't pick him if he's not in Europe but he continues to steal caps.

I'd rather see somebody like Adam Johnson given 10 minutes at the end instead of Beckham. If not, somebody like SWP, just to add to the torment.

I'd sooner just see Milner on his preferred wing. I know he can do a job on the left, but it makes little sense to play him there to accomodate Beckham instead of giving him a chance in his club position and giving Young a bit more gametime on the left to see how he does IMO.

Everyone knows what Beckham offers, 10 minutes at the end of the game is pointless/

Beckham offers a lot. 1 - He's mega fit. 2 - He bring a whole new dimension to the plate commercially. 3 - He's still a very, very good player.

England are still too naive to win anything.
