Yup, we need some momentum and that means getting them cheapish in the first inngs so we can kick on, did well to get the second batting point.

Certainly not with Notts I can't see a result but Somerset might if Trescothick goes mental with the bat. That said Durham are doing a good job so far 267-7, hopefully they will post 300+.

Bloody hell, spoke to soon didn't I Durham have just stumbled to 286 all out. Your right Trescothick could certainly do some damage to that target.

Glorious weather here now, 20 minutes from OT.
If there's no further rain I think they may get a couple of hours in later.
Not looking good for Notts unless they bat and get 350 to get 4 batting points then have innings' forfeited to set Lancs a one innings total.
As you say, Somerset in pole position now. I'd be pleased for Trescothick but players like Trego and Alfonso Thomas really really get on my nerves for some reason!

Yorkshire just got 2 quick wickets too....bums!

Kent 142/5 - blue skies here in Leeds city centre so we should be able to play on for a while yet.
