Merseyside police have refused to comment on rumours Rafael Benitez and Sammy Lee attempted to smuggle a corpse onboard a flight to Europe at Liverpool airport. The dead man was allegedly in a wheelchair and wearing sunglasses.
Liverpool FC quickly issued a statement rubbishing the rumour and claim that Alberto Aquilani was definitely alive when they signed him in the summer.

Is Torres out for the season? If so, surely with something like a knee injury, he may miss the world cup? I remember reading a while back fallings out between our medical staff and Spain's, as we wanted Torres to go through some kind of operation in the off season, whilst Spain wanted it done a few months ago so he'd make the world cup. I'm not sure if this is the one, but I'll be gutted for us and him if he's out for the season and misses the world cup.

It's not looking good for you, but it's not over yet.

We don't beat Bolton and lose to Spurs next week and you could be back on top of the table next week. I said ages ago that there would still be plenty of twists and turns in the title race and there's been even more than I thought there would be. I'd hope that we're going to race to the double now but on the evidence of this season I don't think that's going to happen.
