Agreed.

The defence looked much better last night with Ferdinand in the side. Clean sheet is very important, hopefully we can start keeping them more regularly.

Fabio has looked quality the few times I've seen him. His biggest problem was getting an injury earlier in the season. He scored a good hat-trick a month or so ago in the Lancs Senior. I'm pretty confident we'll see a lot more of him next season. Hopefully, Rafael will get a few more appearances before the end of the season as well.

When he didn't have the security of being surrounded by top players - i.e. when he was at Sunderland - he looked a below average centre-half.

United fans I know were saying similar things about Phil Bardsley and Gibson not so long ago.

TBF though, he is much better than Bardsley.

He definitely has a future at United, and with the greatest respects to Sunderland, he will be surrounded by top players at United. He has done pretty well when he's played for NI as well. He has covered for Rio/Vidic better than anyone could've expected this season.

Nothing special, but a very solid and decent CB.

Dont think he's ever entirely had them. His biggest problem has been that too many City players have known all season that they are unlikely to remain at the club. Never going to have great team spirit in those circumstances.
