Khaldoon strikes me as an excellent chairman. He is very in touch with the fans and what they want from a season/match experience. Although he obviously came into the job with little knowledge of the club, I do know he snapped up copies of all the avaialble books on the club to research the club history and get in tune with what being a supporter of City is all about. I'd be amazed if some of the chairmen out there knew a single fact about their club pre-Premier League.
I have been very impressed too. He comes across as being professional, calm, sincere and intelligent.
Garry Cook does a great job for the club. I was at the Supporters Club Dinner when he dropped his embarrassing gaffe but I genuinely felt for him as his rousing speech up to that point had been a ten out of ten job. He is not a City supporter and people need to realise that. I'm not even convinced he cares that much for football. What he is though is an excellent CEO and that's all I'm bothered about. Garry Cook will not let his heart rule his head. It's a pity sometimes his head doesn't rule his head but you can't have everything.
Agree 100%. Shame that there are a few City fans who want him to fail. It could be worse. Alistair Mackintosh could still be at the club! The thing I like most about Garry Cook is the fact that he actually engages with fans.
Am I right in saying that he know ensures players go to OSC meetings?
If there is anything history has told us, it's that having died in the wool Blues handling the top jobs at the club, is a recipe for disaster
I have no idea of who you are talking about
Spurs fans tell me how important it is that Daniel Levy is a Spurs fan. I ask them 'why?' and I have yet to receive a convincing response.
I've spoke to Vicky Kloss in depth on a couple of occasions, once on the radio show and once when we were all sloshed at the do last week. She is a lifelong Blue and, in her particular role, that is probably more of an asset than a hindrance as she doesn't have to make business decisions. She is an excellent communicator with the fans and, more importantly, she has got an absolutely first rate set of knockers!
I have heard a few things about Vicky Kloss, a lot of them are negative, a few very positive too. I agree that in the role she has at the club, it can be an advantage being a Blue.
