Personally, I'm sure most players would do the same. I think any sane player would choose Old Trafford over Hull or Stoke, but it doesn't make the feelings of anger and betrayal go away!

I can understand why fans get upset if a player moves from their club to a rival, but I'm mystified why they'd be bothered two moves later. People dont seriously expect players to retain their allegiances to the extent that, years later, they'd turn down what is clearly an exceptional career move, do they?
