The main problem you, and many others have, is that they view Suarez on his goals return, when its apparent he is a 'support' striker.....Yes, he will provide goals, but not in the amount that a Rooney or Van Persie will give you - In fact, partnering either of those, he would be devastating.
He reminds me a little of a young RvP. They're not similar in style, but they both hit the post a lot and Suarez is touted as a wide forward/second striker, just like RvP was when he was younger. They both done/do everything right in the build up to goals, but the lack of conviction/composure stopped/stops them from scoring more. RvP has finally stepped up to his true potential and I think Suarez will too eventually. When you see him for Uruguay playing alongside Cavani and Forlan, you see just how dangerous he is.
I think Suarez has been class on the most part, his problem seems to be he actually tries too hard; he needs to pick and choose his moments for brilliance. Every time he gets the ball he tries to turn the defender or do something 'different', but it becomes predictable in ways. Another problem of his is that he seems to create an awful lot for himself, you'll see him turn a defender, evade another but when it comes to the finish, he's knackered or off balance from the previous events; he needs to focus on getting on the end of things a bit more, for me.
Still, I think he's our best attacking player and he's definitely a difference maker, but he's struggling to make a partnership work, largely because he's played with poor forwards in Kuyt and Carroll. I imagine if he can play with a striker that he trusts and gets a bit of consistency from, he will definitely score and create more.
Sets it up nicely for next week though as a neutral. Pop corn at the ready. Makes you see just how massive a Grand Final in the Premier League would be. Can you imagine the week building up to that?
The build up to City v United games are bad enough as it is, they don't need to be raised (or sunk) to another level!
I doubt that it will be that great a game. A draw should be good enough for United, particularly with City's trip to Newcastle to follow.

No, but a fella I speak to on Twitter says he looks very well suited to English football and us. Probably better asking an American-based journo, maybe Jen Chang?

It say's in that peice that Tim Vickery say's he's an out an out goal scorer, Vickery know's his South American football very well. Could turn out to be a steal for $9M which is around £5.5M. I would like it to be true for that price at least, surely worth a gamble.
