Wiggins got his 15 secs reinstated.

Four wins for Mark Cavendish so far. Back in the green jersey by 7 points.

4th placed Levi Leipheimer, a team-mate of Armstrong and Contador, has had to pull out with a broken wrist after his fall yesterday. Wiggins moves up a place to 4th.

Not the Alps, but a couple of decent climbs today. Let's see what Bradley has left.

Chances are going to be limited for Cavendish now - can't see him picking up many points in the mountains over the next few days, or taking too many points from Hushovd on the flat stages that are left.

Maybe attention can now turn to Wiggins - not seen much press for him considering he is now up to fourth. However, as it has been a relatively uneventful tour so far maybe there will be big changes in the last week - it will be interesting to see how he copes.

No points for Cav today for blocking off Hushovd - demoted to last place. Hushovd now leads by 18. No chance for tomorrow as it's a hill top finish. Wiggins now 6th. Should be a good day tomorrow - time for the Yellow Jersey to change hands I think - Contador is my bet.

Aussie raised in NSW with a German Dad, relocated to Germany in his teens to prepare for pro cycling.
He'll be racing on an Australian card from 2010.
