How on earth has John Terry been found NOT GUILTY? I think you have got to be quite angry if you're associated with Liverpool football club.

I fail to see how anyone can not rate Dempsey? He's a fantastic player, easily one of the best goal threats from midfield in the Premier League.

He is a gamble at that price, Liverpool's overspending for players doens't seem to be stopping now Comolli and KKK have left. He's 22 now and has barely played for anyone during his career as he's been unable to get into the first team. As a replacement for Bellamy, who was hardly a regular it's not a bad move, but I can't see him being first choice at Liverpool. £12m seems a lot.

Why? Suarez admitted using the words he was accused of using and Terry denied it. The Judge found there was insufficient evidence to prove they were used as racial abuse, stating it was unlikely he was using them to racially abuse Ferdinand, but rather denying what Ferdinand was accusing him of saying. "I didn't call you a b f c, you pri..." for example.

Because a totally different case judged by a totally different body and requiring different burdens of proof had a different outcome? There is no rational reason for anger in those situations.

Whatever the outcome, it's been dealt with in an appropriate manner (a court of law), and has reached an outcome which would have split the country had it been the other way around, as well.

What is most important now for English football, is that it is put to bed. Like an earlier poster said, the Liverpool/Suarez case dragged it's heels for too long. Time to move on.

Not guilty was the right verdict. There was too much doubt with the evidence that he'd said it in the way that he was accused. As much as he is a bell end of epic proportions, people need to take off their Terry-hating specs.

The FA are saying they will now launch an investigation on the matter. Having been found not guilty in a court of law, surely that is sufficient investigation? Millions will have been spent bringing this case to court and there is no need for a further investigation. John Terry should also let it drop. This case is very similar to the Suarez incident (But less severe because it was a mutual disagreement rather than an attempt from one player to bully/belittle another) and he should show the class Suarez and Liverpool failed to do and not gloat about the verdict. That case would have been over in a couple of weeks had Liverpool not acted in such an ignorant and offensive way throughout the months and months it rumbled on for. Terry should accept the verdict humbly, apologise to Ferdinand unspecifically for his role in the disagreement and move on.

Ferdinand should also have the grace to move on now. The facts are out there and it's been dealt with in court. No need to drag it on further by slinging more accusations out in the media over the coming weeks.

The thing is, in a court of law to be found guilty it must be beyond all reasonable doubt, the proof for the FA must just be on the balance of probabilities. The reason he was found not guilty was that there was a element of doubt in the decision, not that he probably didn't use it as an insult.
