I have a good friend who's playing (first team, last season and this) at Blackburn so I take a great interest in what they are doing. For all the stick Kean got, he had them up the further end of the table with more credible results than what Black or Berg where getting. IIRC he was a goner after the Boro' game at home? His first loss? Bonkers. They're now left in the middle of nowhere now and I seriously doubt anyone decent will take over, by decent I mean someone who can take them straight back up. I seriously Kean would have done that.

Its all well and good trying to suggest that Kean would have taken them back up to the Premier League, but if they hadn't appointed him in the first place then they would never have been relegated....Sacking Allardyce was Venky's biggest mistake and they have been paying for that huge error ever since.

At the moment, the Venkys are in a big hole and they need to stop digging...

That's a good call actually. Blankburn in the PL mid table is about his level I reckon. He worked well there before, tried a step above and has stuttered badly since. It could work for both BR and Hughes.
