With the points system as it is and just under half of the season to go and Ferrari improving Massa has got as much chance as Alonso to win the title but your love of all things Alonso doesn't let you see that.
As for your 'brave boys' and 'our' Lewis comments I am as much if not more a Williams F1 fan than Hamilton or Button probably due to the fact of them being the dominant team when I started watching F1.
Alonso was 31 points ahead of Massa before today, he's been quicker all season and quicker all weekend - Massa only got in front at the start because Vettel was trying to block Alonso, I think it's pretty obvious who has the better chance of winning Ferrari the title.
I have no love of all things Alonso, I do think some of his petulance is quite amusing and makes him worth watching, I do find it amusing how he was loved in the British media for being the man who saw off Schumacher, but almost overnight became the villain because he didn't get on with our Lewis, and it's funny to see people get worked up about things he does that all drivers do/would do if given the chance. At least when Schumacher was driving people off the track it was easy and obvious to take against him.
I can't find it to "support" anyone in F1, the setup of it being nominally a team sport but the main prize being the drivers championship is a weird one that makes little sense.
