You blues aren't half a fickle bunch. When Lescott played for you, he was just another feather in the 'Moyes is the greatest manager in the prem' cap, now he's gone, he's gash.

Where did anyone say he was gash!?

He was a fantastic buy for Moyes, no-one wanted to know when Moyes snapped him for £5 million and he is a fantastic player. I'm gutted he's gone but the point being selling a player bought for £5million for £24 million and bringing a replacement in for £5 million is good business. Doesn't hide the fact we've lost a quality defender mind.

What a croc of poop, I think you'll be hard pushed to find any Evertonian wanting Lescott playing for England. His performances deserved a place but no one was gutted he didn't play because who gives a shiit about England, as long as he done his job for us, which he did.

I'm not tbh, the day he slapped in that transfer request, the day I stopped caring. You can have a player who is world class but if he doesn't want to be there, then you may as well cash in.

Still, fantastic by Moyes, added £10m at least to his value and got two defenders, plus a midfielder.

The allegations about him taking drugs are obviously true then.

He does have a habit of speaking before engaging brain. But then I like the fact that he is confident.

It's better to have aspirations than realistic targets

Looking forward to the England game Wednesday, as long as Lescott doesn't get a run out we'll be fine defensively.

And Johnson and Terry.

Cole was the only defender who impressed at the weekend. Judging by Ferdinand's last appearance for England, our strongest back four would not include Camel Gob

I'll always have a soft spot for Robinho after that story came out of him getting the bus to the Trafford Centre because he didn't like driving on English roads. That and the story that he nearly had a mental breakdown shortly before he signed for city.

Fair play to him for having the balls to come out with this stuff though. Makes a change from the usual footballers guff about 1 game at a time.
