I hope they finish 2nd and we get them in the last 16. Sick of them going on about beating our reserves (granted we'd do it if we beat them at rugby) so I want out first team to humiliate them.

Doesn't help that I was in Oz at the time and took the abuse both barrels.

That is absolute nonsense. Most fans have written us off already. There is a 10:1 ratio of people thinking we have any chance and people writing us off. At the end of the day, almost every fan in the tournament secretly hopes their team will wildly outdo their expectations.

I'm with you.

I think we're capable of certainly making the final, semi finals/final, certainly.

For me, It's a bit like I've experienced with Warrington this year, when you've got a top coach, he can guide through a competition. We couldn't win the league this year, but Smith managed to get the team to peak for a series of one offs. I'm certain that Capello has the same nous, that once we get out of the group, Capello will look to execute game plans and plot England a course to the final. It might not be pretty, but we have the right man in charge.
