United fell into the same trap in the 2nd half as the did in Munich. 10 men or not, they should've beat Bayern. Plus points were Rafael pre sending off - he was excellent, Nani, absolutley outstanding and Valencia.
Rafael was superb. Until Ribery retaliated with the swinging elbow, he didn't turn up. Rafael kept him out of the game. Taking away his little tug, Rafael proved to me hands down, that Gary Neville should walk away now. He's nowhere near as good as Rafael.
Nani probably had his best game in a United shirt, even when playing as the lone striker he was running around and causing Bayern all sorts of problems. Valencia once again was very good, although when he lost his RB he didn't get the ball often enough.
I don't really know how we lost the game. If only Rio decided to mark players, Carrick decided to clear the ball and VDS decided to pressure the striker, they would have been dead at half time. We made two very costly errors in the two legs, and Olic capitalised both times. We were superb in the first half last night, and even when down to 10 men, we didn't really look like conceeding, and indeed had the better chances - if only we had more than Rooney who could take their chances. However, you have to take your hat off to Robben, apart from a couple of runs, he was very quiet, but that goal was superb.
F*ck Ribery, if we're to get anyone from Bayern I want Robben. When fit he is unstoppable - if only we'd have tried harder to sign him before Chelski got him. I like Bayern, they're my FIFA team, I hope they go on to win it now.

Hopefully Chelsea win the league, so there can be no excuses for the inevetiable small spending summer that we face. But don't worry Fergie will tell us that the market is distorted.
In two games against Chelsea, one against Liverpool and both ties against Bayern, it has been proved that we lack the true quality in our midfield.
Valencia has given us a truly quality winger, with a decent cross and good strength. And Nani has had a really good second half to the season. However, in the middle we lack any creativity. Giggs and Scholes cannot play more than two games, and at times their passing has been woeful. Carrick has had his worse season since joining United, and Anderson has missed large chunks due to injury and fall out.
There are rumours that a £24m deal has been agreed for Milner. Either him, Gourcuff or David Silva are a must this summer. We also need to sign a new striker as well as a replacement GK for VDS.
Still, it could be worse, we could be on Channel 5 tonight.
