Latics currently trading at 1.08 to stop up. First year I haven't backed them to stop up and they were priced at 5.5 just three weeks ago!

Arsenal were played off the park by wigan and wenger couldn't even bring himself to admit they were the better team.

Martinez seems to be a decent manager he keeps wigan up season after season against the odds, playing good football along the way.

I wonder how he'd go if he got a job at a club like a tottenham, or a newcastle.

I think the devil is in the detail. Wigan are a very attacking orientated team, with a shaky defence. That is why they are, where they are. I don't think it is coincidence, that at this part of the season, again, they have gone for it and accrued some wins.

If they took that mindset from the off, they may avoid this situation next season.
