Interesting developmemts in the Cock Of The North

Roman Jupiter and Plough Lane dead heaterd for 2nd.

Rule is both trainers are asked if they still want their dog to progress to the Final.

If yes they usually run off to see who gets there (would have to be Saturday night I guess)

But with the close proximity of the final (next Tuesday) they might decide to do it on the toss of a coin.

It was decided on the toss of a coin and Plough Lane is out.

The only compensation is that if any runner witdraws Plough Lane goes in as a reserve.

Still both were miles back so doubt he would have won in the final anyway.

Ladbrokes Summer Classic starts tomorrow at Monmore

Fav (Corrig Vieri) looks hot but his namesake Buffalo Vieri looks decent value at 25/1 and can hopefully have a decent shot at making it through to the final and then seeing what sort of field makes it that far.
