England clearly aren't one of the best sides in Europe, but they aren't nearly as bad as they've often performed.
I think Redknapp has just about done enough to rule himself out of contention. If he cannot manage a club side with the distraction of the possibility of the England job, then he clearly isn't the man to be managing the England side.
Winkleidiot's view that people have only turned against Redknapp recently is as accurate on his view of our second goal. I don't think there was anyone on here who particularly wanted him to become boss, and there were a few very against him.
