Shawne Merriman effectively released by the Chargers. Not the same plater since he was basically assaulted by the Titans o line. He was never going to be signed long term so not a huge surprise. Link

Bit strange he wants to be a starter and a 3 down player but hes only going to be a back-up in Philly aswell so hes not going to be happy still surely
