Gerrard was excellent when he came on. Did something good with pretty much every touch. But he wasn't looking like doing anything major until the Napoli defence started setting him up.

To be fair, we forced those errors. Napoli's energy in the first half was too much and they got a deserved goal, but they couldn't keep that up for 90 minutes, as proven as they were out on their feet at the end as Gerrard got his hat-trick.

Horrible tackle on N'Gog, as clear a red as you're likely to see.
