I don't see how Fellaini can be a success at any of the so-called big clubs, because the reason he is so good at Everton is that our whole game is based around him, something that simply won't happen at a Chelsea or United - He just won't fit in and be as effective as he is at present, because he will not be the central focus of the side.

I'm not defending Fellaini's actions, but you only have to rewind 2 weeks to see why he might have got so frustrated as to do what he did yesterday.

In the City-Everton game, Fellaini conceded a penalty for 'holding' an attacker at a set piece.....At yesterday's game, and in every game they play, Stoke City took this 'holding' tactic to an extreme - Rightly or wrongly, Fellaini got wound up and proceeded to take the law into his own hands.

I think if referees actually grew some balls and started consistantly penalising defenders for holding, then you would eliminate all this tedious wrestling in the box and, with it, take away the possibility of attackers assaulting defenders as Fellaini did to Shawcross.

And on all 3 occaisions it was a penalty prior to the assault , if the ref gives the penalty no assault , simples as the little furry animal says

I don't think they were all penalties tbh but I do think that it should be taken into consideration when the FA look at it. Anything more than three games will be unfair IMO.

some of the wrestling / shirt puling at set pieces is ridiculous, it is at the other extreme of the spectrum of what you see outside the box where the merest contact warrants a free kick

We (the relegated clubs) are all finding it a difficult season in the Championship. As they say, it's a tough league to get out of.

None of them on Fellaini looked that bad to warrant a penalty.

Yes they did, grabbing forearms, wrapping arms completely round his body , clear obstruction, result penalty
