Strauss certainly isnt giving the impression that they're close to kissing and making up. Seems very angry about it.

It does read more that the ECB have not made him available for selection. The smoke screen around it does seem a little strange.

not surprising really when you consider that KP is alleged to have called some of his England team mates very nasty names in afrikaanse by text messages to some South African players...

Is this Pietersen's revenge? I mean, he scored a brilliant hundred at Leeds which nobody talked about because we were all watching the women's lightweight double sculls from Eton Dorney. Now he's ensuring we all watch a game of cricket he's not involved in and talk about only him.

nah, I think he's just a big-headed p*µ=k whose ego is bigger than his cricket bat - I don't want him playing for England again not when he's making such comments about his team mates

Swann back for Bresnan. So still a four-man attack and Bairstow listed to come in at four. It looks horribly unbalanced to me.
