He did but it was mainly a good 'back end of season'. He's a decent player but he's far too inconsistent. Sometimes he'll have a really good game, but then other times he goes missing and offers very little.



I reckon Aquilani will stay. Apparantley, he wants to stay here and show what he's worth. He's a good player, undoubtedly better than Meireles and is very good on the ball and has a bit of class about him. I'd like him to stay to, to see what he has to offer, his ability is undoubtable.

How did you manage to wangle Dzeko into that list given he's only had half a season? Are you as unforgiving on Andy Carroll?

According to reports in France, Aly Cissokho is on his way to Liverpool. I've seen him a couple of times and really liked him. He's young, fast and likes to get forward - he's an absolutle beast aswell. Lyon holding out for around 9mil apparantley.

The only way Aquaman will stay is if the Italian sides keep trying to get him on the cheap. Liverpool would be happy to get rid, and Aquilani wants to go back to Italy. He's only saying he's happy to come back now, quite simply because he has to.

I agree with you, but still reckon he'll stay as I don't think any Italian clubs will pay the fee we want, and we're more keen to offload Raul apparantley. It's a shame Woy sent him out on loan as I were looking forward to seeing his worth instead of just a couple of games.

What makes you think he'll be on a packet? He'll bring us experience and a very solid goal-keeper to bring in when Pepe's injuired/out. Alot more experienced, assured and an all round finer player than Brad Jones by a lot.

My guess is that he's a better player than anyone they have in reserve or, in the alternative, they don't trust the younger players yet. Doni will be in the stiffs but if Reina gets injured, they'll need someone experienced to step in.



United's Goalkeeping situation is interesting next season. I've no idea if De Gea is any good but if he gets hurt, it's either Lindegaard or *shudder* Kusczak. I reckon Fergie would have told VDS to keep fit, just in case.

Malaga have reportedly offered €35 million for Wesley Sneider.

I don't understand the Lindegaard situation. He's the Danish number 1 and is now going to be a bench warmer for the 2nd season running, just makes no sense to me.

Have Everton signed anyone yet? It seems to me their pre-season training camp in a remote hill setting somewhere in Austria is an attempt to make everyone forget we exist, so they won't bid for our players. I'll bet the club is gutted the players are on twitter posting pictures all the time.

With so many central midfielders at the club it hints at us playing a 4-3-3 formation for me, with us being able to fluidly switch to a 4-4-2 with Suarez going up front and Downing/Kuyt/Messi dropping back into midfield.
