I've shown time and time again that I was never a full on Rafa-fanatic, I criticized him when deserved and defended him when deserved.
I'm completely against Hodgson, that feeling continues to grow every single time I see the team play. Hodgson's antics in the press I'm pretty ashamed of to be honest, his rant about Dalglish the other day was, quite simply, a farce.
Rafa responses to the Dalglish the thing and sky call it an Astonishing attack

Woy had a little dig at the fans during the post match conference at Bolton.
"I have to be very careful what I say, these fans hold you to every word".
May not have come across offensive but sounded like a dig too me.
Despite the Yanks II's pledge that his job was safe, I think they're going to have to go back on their word and send Woy to the dole office. It was a mad decision to give him the job and even more bonkers to sanction some of his purchases.
Can I just ask mods why my post regarding the Newcastle v Sunderland game has been deleted please? I didn't think it was illegal for someone to record a game using Sky+ onto a recordable DVD player
No need to play the fool, of course that isn't illegal, however, what you asked for is.

we were hitting anywhere near the heights expected of our squad, he could come out and criticize other people's reigns, but, he hasn't, he has taken us even further back: his signings have been poor, his tactics have been poor, his antics in the media have been embarrassing.
I don't think Rafa ever had us set out to be tactically poor, but his signings were poor at times and his final season was, IMO at least, worthy of the sack. I do think Rafa had done enough in his previous years to stay and have another chance with new owners, but I didn't think new ownership would arrive so soon, so I felt that, with the previous owners, Rafa had to go as the relationship was too damaged to be repaired.
However, despite Benitez's failings in his final season, we were never this bad. Under Roy we are currently playing so negatively, so ordinarily, so slow, so direct and without any form of chemistry, I cannot even begin to defend how badly Roy is doing. Benitez had a poor final season, there is no denying that, but Roy hasn't even shown signs of quality, it has all been poor from start to finish, he can't coach the best/better players and he can't coach a quality side.
Hodgson came out the other day saying he wants Dalglish to stay or something, saying he's made him welcome at Melwood and so on and Benitez didn't. However, Benitez gave Dalglish the job at the club, whilst he also praised Dalgish during his final season and Dalglish praised him as well. Roy has no clue, which is basically what Rafa said to Roy after Roy had yet another pop. For all his talk of flops and failed signings, just look at some of Hodgson's signings during his time in England over the years (excluding Blackburn days):
Christian Poulsen Paul Konchesky Brad Jones Toni Kallio Bjorn Helge Riise Erik Nevland Leon Andreasen Fredrik Stoor Andy Johnson Eddie Johnson
And there are probably countless more. I wonder how Roy would react if Mark Hughes came out and said "I don't think we can expect much other than survival this season, Roy left us with a load of mediocre fleeps and flops that make us unable to do much". Roy would probably come out and defend his time at Fulham, which was riddled with mediocrity.
Stat of the day (not sure on the truthfulness of it, but it made me smile nonetheless): Kenny Dalglish has won more medals than Roy Hodgson has away premier league games. If anyone can be bothered researching such humour, please do.

Roy started quite well but seem have turned into a walking disaster just recently, the comment after the Everton games was unbelieveable! Still he will point to winning the last two games and only being 4 points off 5th place I guess.

To be fair to Roy, there has been a lot of twisting of things he's said, but, he is a lunatic when it comes to opening his mouth. He claimed the win away at Bolton was 'famous'.
