Pretty much go with that myself. Whilst Klitchsko appears to come across as the dodger in this scenario, let's not forget Haye pulled out of the last fight scheduled between the two. Like Pacquaio and Mayweather, these two are are avoiding the fight we all want to see because of politics. The fans are being cheated and what could potentially be a brilliant year for boxing in terms of super fights, will probably disappoint because these two fights won't happen.

Neither the Klitschkos nor Haye particularly want to get these fights on as they know they are high risk. loser has nowhere to go bouts.

There's plenty of easy money to be made fighting other people rather than each other.

Agreed, I don't think either of them want the fight to go ahead, but they are been forced into one by the public and media - Haye certainly is anyway. Haye knows that he is out of time avoiding the Klitschkos and another non contest fight would be the final straw in what the public see of him. Reading his comments this morning you got the impression that he was saying 'Oh well...I did all I could...wink wink...I've got away with it' there was just a huge sense of relief in what he was saying.

Haye pulled out of the first fight because he lost the financial backing of Setanta, and had to agree to a slave contract with K2.

Now that Wlad has chosen to fight Chisora it means Haye has to fight Chageav before Vlad or he'll be stripped of his title. If I was Haye I'd fight Chageav in April and try and reschedule a fight with Vlad in October (just before his retirement deadline), and just forget about Vitali unless he decides to fight on past October.

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

You seriously believe that??.....Haye has never avoided anybody. He called Warren's bluff and destroyed Enzo Maccaranelli....He travelled to France and won a World title off a respected champion in the guy's own backyard....He went to Germany to win a Heavyweight title.....His career story isn't that of a man who would suddenly run scared of a fighter, especially one who isn't particuarly that talented and has a record of being vulnerable against a good puncher like Haye.

You want a champion who spent a career avoiding risk?.....Look up Joe Calzaghe.

I don't buy this Haye's scared of Vlad or Vlad's scared of Haye rubbish. This is the only fight for either of them in terms of enhancing their legacys and its by far the biggest money fight in the HW division since Lewis/Tyson, apart from Pac/May its probably the richest fight than could be made in boxing.

I still find it amazing that Vlad seems to be getting no critisism from the public for choosing to fight Chisora (who to be honest, is far more of a nobody than Audley was, atleast Audley was Europian champ) when he knows that by fighting Chisora in April it basically makes a fight with Haye very difficult to make. I don't see why the Chisora fight can't happen later in the year.

RIP

He was a good fighter in a good era for British Heavyweight boxing with him, Lewis, Bruno, Hide and Akinwande all around at about the same time.

Very sad. Mason was a big puncher but ultimately never had the class as a fighter to beat the best in the world.
