these are false and unjust acustations of appealing a catch.he was appealing a lbw . this is an outrage . if u do not play fair . aussie's will keep the ashes my chap. we will have a cup of tea in the members area of lords. call stumps my chaps
No he wasn't you daft, inbred, brainless turd. He dived for what was, in all honesty, a brilliant catch. He appealed, holding the ball in the air. Then, when he heard "not out", he ran towards Dar, gesturing with the ball in his hand to show he caught it, shouting "I caught it, I caught it." He then turned to Collingwood to ask why he didn't walk when he knew he'd hit it. I couldn't fully see Collingwood's response but I'd like to think it was along the lines of "f*ck off you Aussie tw*t, I didn't get anywhere near it."
By the way, it's mentioned in this article. On an Australian site, I might add.
"Earlier Ponting had been furious when he took a diving one-handed catch at silly mid-off off Collingwood, appealing furiously to umpire Dar.
Dar down the appeal - with replays later showing he was correct and the ball had come off Collingwood's pad - but an exasperated Ponting vented his fury.
He shook his head at Dar and angrily flicked the ball back at the umpire in between overs."
So, erm... They are not false or unjust accusations. It's the truth and it shows Ponting up for the hypocritical tw*t that he is.

Warne blasts Pietersen's ego- SHANE Warne believes Kevin Pietersen needs to put the England team, not his ego, first following the opening Ashes Test in Cardiff.
Warne was particularly damning of his former Hampshire teammate's wild sweep shot to get out in the first innings at Sophia Gardens.
"He reminds me of Mark Waugh. Junior was another who found batting so easy that he sometimes got out in ways that looked horrible, like reverse-sweeping Phil Tufnell,'' Warne wrote in his column in The Times.
"I think Pietersen, too, just gets bored. That is where hunger comes in. He prepares better than anybody for games, but he has to put the team first, not himself.''
