Not sure about Jonjo Shelvey... one minute he looks the part, confident on the ball etc.. but then goes and knocks a simple 5 yard pass 5 yards away from its intended area.

Yep been following it, the amount of nutters at some Argentinian clubs (and the influence they have) is unbelievable, I enjoyed all the football I went to in Argentina last year and the atmosphere was always superb, but I'd be very wary of going to a big game there.
I have been to a fair few games in South America in the past 2 months or so, and I can honestly say the games in Brazil were scarier than the Boca Verus River game I went to. That may have been due to the Brazilian police tasering everyone in sight when fans look at them the wrong way. Aside from the Boca and River game, I felt the atmosphere wasn´t really as good as an English game, and maybe even over hyped alittle.

From what I´ve heard, Buenos Aires was abit of a war zone last night.

Not seen much of him since early on at Juve, but I've read a lot of him. Apparently his ego is massively bloated and he's kicking up a right fuss. Things didn't work out for him at Juve, which I found odd as I believed he'd be perfect for them. Apparently he couldn't settle because the team wasn't built around him.

Anyway, since he's been at Volkswagen, his attitude has hit rock bottom. He taken - and missed - a penalty when he was told he wasn't supposed to take it. He's been partying and generally behaving like a disgrace.

I'd be surprised if any big side in Europe took the punt on him with his attitude so poor. Maybe he'll go back to Brazil or Portugal. He'll probably end up in Qatar or something earning disgraceful sums of money. Pity, he had all the talent to easily make it as a star at most clubs in Europe.

Being linked all over the media today with a move to your lot.

Looks like the Fabregas deal will finally happen, makes it less likely they will let Nasri leave.

Reports on Spanish tv saying Fàbregas deal could be done by end of this week.
Sunderland have £13million bid for Wickham accepted.

The FA should step in there. They cannot allow a young British footballer to sign for Sunderland. It's not humane.

Must admit I was surprised as reading some of the Liverpool supporters on here I thought Wickham to anfield was a done deal.

Some good goals in women's world cup so far. Japan scored a couple against New Zealand and Mexico's equaliser against England was a peach.

Most journalists have given that impression to us. Some have said that, even if Sunderland do have a bid accepted, he won't go there as he wants to join Liverpool.

I still hope we go for him, but apparently one of our board members, I'm guessing Ayre, has been on holiday so nothing's been getting done. IMO, what a ridiculous time to go on holiday, but oh well.
