Brett Favre has been broken since about the age of 26. Still went out there and put it on the line week in week out. Apparently Cutler left the ground under his own steam with no brace or anything on his knee. Doesn't look good for him at all. Piece on tweets posted by other players about Cutler. Didn't realise Rivers had played through a game with a torn ACL.

Yep, against the Patriots Rivers was battling away with a torn ACL....LT was sat crying on the sidelines with a bit of turf toe at least one of the Chargers stars showed some battle.

I think that may have been the point where Rivers became one of my favourite QBs.

Cutler yesterday certainly didn't look like he had any major injury and could have probably gone back into the game, even if he scrambled less he could have helped his team out.

I think I said it last night during the game but if the Bears had of come back and made it to the SB would he be playing?

Personally I think he would, but I guess we will never know!

Ok he was injured but players have played, OR attempted to play on equally as bad injuries. Rivers played the 2008 AFCC game with a torn ACL, Gradokowski has apparently played a game with 2 torn ACL's, McNabb has played on a broken ankle, Favre has played on any combination of leg/ankle injuries.

However aside from that he didn't even look interested. He didn't go over and try and advise Henie, he wasn't trying to get the crowd/other players going.

I think they are going overboard because I like Cutler, but he certainly isn't blameless.

Eli got told he was out for 3 months with a seperated shoulder. He played the week and went onto win the superbowl tha season.

Fomer players Derrick Brooks and Deion Sanders were quite ruthless in their assessments. On offence I think it'll be tough, and we need to get Starks out to practice some pass protection and picking up the Blitz for when they bring it. We'll need to spread them out to keep Harrison, who isn't the fastest, away from Rodgers. Rodgers is one of the best at picking up the Blitz so he'll have his shots.

Enjoy the whole week. I've been fortunate to have my team in three superbowls and you never know when you'll be in on again.

Cutler wouldn't have been able to have a Cortisone shot during the game, he's a type 1 diabetic and Cortisone can effect blood sugar levels.

I think the critisism being leveled at him is harsh to say the least.

Me too, but watching him on the sidelines, he certainly did not help his cause.
