Thought that'd be the case mate. Sounds about right.

That's true, I suppose if we had been talking about Valencia of a few years back the valuation would be a lot lower.

From Hull and now trying to spread the RL word in Liverpool, and failing dismally.

On youtube there is a clip of the England under 21's having a 2 touch game in training for the tournament, which consists mainly of the players taking a touch and then blasting the ball towards goal. None of the coaches seemed to be encouraging them to move into space to receive a pass and it was just like watching football played on a school playground. No wonder they were so poor.

You really don't have a clue do you, you've never seen Felli play because he's absolutely brilliant. He's a class player and to be honest if he left us he'd go somewhere better than Spurs. You do realise he isn't a striker?

no mate ,you are quite right

after watching top flight football for 50 ish years I really don't have a clue - well done

Would be depressing if Chelsea ruined another top manager's reputation. If AVB has sense, he'll stay away, particularly if Chelsea bring in Hiddink over him.

I can understand why you have special affection for Ancellotti, seeing as he threw away the 3 goal lead to let you take the Champions League, but which other top manager's reputation have we ruined?

Liverpool are far more guilty of ruining Hodgson's reputation than we are with any of our managers.

Well, if you've been watching 50 years you must know it all

If you think Fellaini is rubbish, you haven't watched that much top flight football.

Roddy B wrote:
Do give over with the Fellaini love in. He's a good player, but ready to fill Essien's boots? Unless he suddenly gains stupendous speed, athleticism and versatility, he'll never be able to fill his boots. Essien struggled this season, but I personally believe Guus will have him right back to the level he was at, where he was probably the most dynamic midfielder in Europe.

Now, before the toffees say drivel like "you've never seen him live", I have, twice, and I can appreciate his ability and the advancements in his game, but he'll never be an elite-level midfielder, which some seem to think he already is. He's a good player, but seems to lack that 'something' in most areas of his game to make him truly top drawer.

Good to see you've ended his career before it's really taken off. Fellaini is class, he can play at the highest level and he wouldn't be out of his depth but seen as you've seen him play twice you must know all there is to know about him  of course he still needs to improve his game, every player does but right now Essien is 28, I think, in the next 5 years I do think we could be talking about Fellaini in the same way as Essien or Viera. I know he needs to show his ability in a better midfield or in a higher level but, not just because he plays for Everton, he is a class player.

what a dodgy organisation they are.

sounds a bit like they are having to be seen to do something, and have told him to 'fall on his sword' and they'll keep it all schtum

When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Unfortunately it's usually an oncoming train

exactly, if there was nothing to worry about, why not allow the investigation to proceed?

nothing gets answered and it just leads to more speculation and further demolition of FIFA's credibility
