I went to the League Cup Final in '73 to witness the most boring final of any competition ever and Spurs just crept through thanks to Ralph Coates - a day of mixed emotions.

definitely fear for The Canaries this season - they must be favourites for the drop but at least the catering should be top notch as usual !!!

You really don't have a clue do you, you've never seen Felli play because he's absolutely brilliant. He's a class player and to be honest if he left us he'd go somewhere better than Spurs. You do realise he isn't a striker?

Sinclar, Wellbeck and Sturridge look pretty dangerous for England, but by god how awful is England's midfield again? It's like it's not even there. As soon as the Czech's get the ball they are just outside box, bypassing the entire midfield with consumate ease by passing or runing, just no resistance at all.

Cleverley, Henderson? Why? They've effectively got 3 up front with Sinclair having no defensive discipline down the left and Muamba is being sucked into the back four as they flood forward once we give the ball away. The tactical naivity shows massively, headless chickens with no shape.

Was Henderson this bad for Sunderland? His passing so far has been dreadful. Bizarre pass off the referee's bum just. I haven't a clue where that one was intended to go.

Having not seen much of Henderson i just thought the Sunderland fans were being bitter when saying he's not good enough but after seeing him in these last three games i can see what they mean.

Where does Cleverley normally play? Is he another central midfielder playing wide for his country because there is no one else? He doesn't seem to have any attributes that you would want a wide player to have. All three games so far have passed him by.

At united he's always played in the middle as a play maker and has been a stand out player but Wigan played him on the left cutting inside on his right foot.

I reckon he'd cost round €25 million mate. It might be less but Valencia aren't as desperate for funds as they were a couple of years ago.

About time. Wellbeck has deserved that. England's best by a mile. Sturridge and Wellback are good enough, as is the back 4. Just need a midfield now.

So, has anyone actually seen much of this Marveaux? free transfer apparently, another good bit of business. Are things looking up at SJP?
