All the LBW's were legit and in fairness Australia earned every wicket they got. No poor shots or cheap dismissals, they bowled very well. Yesterday was the first period of dominance they have shown since day 1 at Brisbane, 8 days of cricket ago!!!! I just hope that normal service is resumed today. The 1st session today will define the whole series for me. If we get Mr Cricket early the test and Ashes are ours, if they kick on then the whole balance/momentum changes.........

Well 51-2 chasing 391 to win, both openers gone.

South Africa chased 400 plus here to win not long back, so hopefully Trott and Pietersen can emulate their countrymen. Can't afford any more slip-ups through til close today.

So far our batsmen havent really got in to the point where they look like putting together a big partnership. The aussie bowlers just have that extra hostility that we lacked.

Absolutely horrendous shot from Pietersen.

Guess if there are two players you'd want at the crease when you need to dig in it's Trott and Collingwood, but it's probably academic now.

took a bit of a stride, but just straight down the pitch, irrespective of where the ball was going, and had a waft..

It's all over now. England open the door to the Aussies for the Ashes in typical England fashion. What should have been a breeze is now a nerve racking struggle to retain the trophy against a team that's on it's ass.
