Considering how obvious it is that KK and Suarez have been TOLD to apologise, i'm not sure how much i respect them for it. They couldn't both very well refuse orders from above, else they'd have been out on their s.. which would have been hilarious to see the reaction of LFC fans if KK was forced out by the owners!

Good to see sense has finally been restored at Anfield. I'd say it's likely that the owners in the US have sent word of their displeasure at the incident and it's been acted upon. Either that, or the network of former players have stepped in and asked them to sort it out. But either way it's good to see them finally stand up and admit he was wrong and that they've not handled it well. Now they've done that hopefully it'll all go away.

Quite surprised nobody has mentioned Evra & Ferdinand attempting to take Suarez out of the game early on, only for Suarez to hit the breaks and Evra to injure Ferdinand instead. Would not be the 1st time a Man Utd player went in for a pre-meditated attack.

Nice to see Dalglish and Suarez admit they were out of order and totally wrong. Either they did it of their own volition or were told to. Either way, it is satisfying and will hopefully put this to bed. United can go back to fighting for the title (tough ask, big result for city today) and Liverpool can go back to their cup campaigns and the fight for Europa League.
