999/1000 Gomes would have just played the ball to a Spurs player, the match would've gone on and no one would have made anything of it.
This is the 1/1000 where Nani clearly handles the ball, Gomes assumes the free kick has been given and throws the ball down, Nani then runs up and plays the ball into the net.
There's obviously confusion and pressure because it was a stupid passage of play, but I'm just puzzled how Clattenburg can give the goal once he's consulted with the lino.
Nani is an even bigger greasy cheat than Ronaldo. He knows he's handled it. Yet he's got up and played on as though nothing has happened.
