You're probably right, which is all the more reason why they should never be seen and heard on television again. That pair have been stealing a living for many years, especially Keys, who has never contributed anything useful to the game as far as I am aware.
Imagine if the assistant with the flag had been an Asian man and they'd come out with a load of crap about Asians not understanding football, should stick to cricket or hockey etc.? They'd already be out of a job by now, and I don't really see any difference with slagging off Sian Massey. She must be bloody good to get on the Premiership list at the age of 25. She will have refereed semi-pro non-league matches for several seasons, been marked by club officials at every match, been assessed regularly by retired former top level referees, and will have achieved significantly higher marks and assessments than her peers at each level as she makes her way up the ladder, as well as running the line at Football League level; she hasn't just been thrown into the Premiership at random because someone thinks we should have a few female officals.
Most of all it was the sheer arrogance and lack of humour in Keys' voice that sickened me. He's always irritated me and I regard him as pretty much unemployable after that. What a creep.
