You can, though. The conversation was in Spanish, have you ever spoken Spanish? You must know full well that the word clearly doesn't mean the same slur like it is in our language. I don't need to debate the merits of the word, the 'experts' at the committee said it wouldn't be seen as racist without a harsh adjective stuck in there. If they say what he said isn't racist, then who are we to disagree with people allegedly in a much stronger position than us to comment? If we're basing things purely off what Suarez has admitted to, then it could have been dealt with by a "I didn't mean that, sorry if you took it that way, but I meant it this way", but then that's a completely different situation and accusation to what's really happened.
