Suarez is a disgrace, stupid actions, he's just making life in England tremendously difficult. I do think a lot of this is stemming from Dalglish though, he's an idiot.
I missed his post match interview, I presume he was whining. I saw SAF's, he was perhaps a little extreme in his comments but he's quite right in that Liverpool are very quickly becoming the team everyone loves to hate and it's all down to the actions & thoughts of their 'star player' and manager.

Why is he a disgrace JWP? What has he done that's disgraceful?
Suarez feels he was falsely accused, if you were found guilty of something you still deny, would you go and shake the accuser's hand and get on with it? I wouldn't, but I guess being stubborn and not bowing to society is a disgrace now.

You're wrong. Don't you know Suarez is racist because Evra said so. There are some abosulte baffoons on here. Saddened being the biggest.

It was rather bizarre. He was doing fine talking about the football, he seemed to accept they were poor and United were too good for them at the start of the second half. But then Geoff asked if Suarez's actions had created the poor atmosphere that lead to the scenes in the tunnel at half and full time. Kenny then completely lost the plot and was clearly hopping mad about it. To be fair to him he did well to avoid saying the words he was clearly itching to say, presumably in defense of Suarez and aimed at Evra. He did a Wenger and denied he knew about Suarez's refusal, claiming he'd not seen it and that the players had told him a different story. But at the end he was looking like he would lose the plot and went on about the fans behaving and there being not many cards and therefore Geoff was out of order.
All a complete mess, why did Suarez not just shake his hand? If anything, it was Evra who should have done the refusing, but he was the bigger man and held his hand out. If Suarez holds his hand out and shakes it the situation is defused, the talk is over and anything Evra did after that would reflect poorly on him. But no, acting with a bit of class is beyond Suarez and he does that, creating the bad atmosphere about the game.
Ferguson's comments were OTT clearly, but he has a point. Liverpool were always a fantastic club who behaved the right way and with dignity. Their handling of the Suarez race incident is going a long way towards destroying a reputation built on 100+ years of being an upstanding club and a beacon for what football should be about. No one is asking Suarez to like Evra, he doesn't have to be his friend and I'm sure he does have his own viewpoints on the situation. But FFS just take it on the chin and put it to bed.
You're wrong. Don't you know Suarez is racist because Evra said so.
No, he's a racist because the INDEPENDENT committee said so. How can you defend his actions? He himself admitted saying the words, there is no defense. Just accept that. Had he appologised and had Liverpool acknowledged the incident the whole mess would have been over months ago.

If he felt that strongly, he should have advised his club of this and they could have asked the FA/Premier League to avoid handshakes etc as this was his intention, or at least the situation could have been defused with some pre-planning. Kenny had no knowledge of the 'non handshake' so it's not been done with LFC consulted.
It's yet another act of somebody with questionable values.

Falsely accused of the thing he actually ADMITTED to saying?

Only he and Evra know what happened. Evra said Suarez called him a "negro" 10 times, but in the INDEPENDENT report Evra say's Suarez didn't call him a "negro" 10 times. Do you really think if Suarez thought he did racially absuse Evra he still wouldn't shake Evra's hand?

Wow, so because three people said he was guilty, that means he is? Can he not continue to maintain his innocence or does he have to bow down to society?
Suarez never admitted saying what he'd been accused of. He admitted using 'a word' once and the linguistic experts used at the hearing said Suarez's account of things wouldn't be seen as racist.
Suarez apologised for anybody who may have been offended by the word but he maintained he never used it to racially offend anyone.
I just can't understand what people want Liverpool football club to do. One of their employees is accused of something, the employee completely denies any wrongdoing and goes to a hearing. The employee is found 'probably guilty' on the basis of something without any evidence, he was found guilty on something completely opinionated and open to interpretation. Their employee serves a ban then returns. The next game he comes up against the person he feels wrongly accused him, so he refuses to shake his hand. Isn't that common sense? Isn't that what anybody else would do in the same situation? If you were found guilty of something and served time for it despite you maintaining your innocence, would you walk up to the 'victim' and shake their hands when you feel you've been completely screwed over by them?
The entire situation is wide open to interpretation but too many people are like sheep and they follow the opinion generated by others. For me, Suarez has done, for me, what any other normal person has done, whilst Liverpool football club have done what any other good employer should do, and that's stand by their employee if they continue to maintain innocence.
If people think I'm completely in denial, I'm not, I can accept the opinion of some people, people who have taken time to read the full document, who have taken time to interpret things, understand things and tried to form an opinion of their own. People like you are just the sad people, the type of person who calls everything to do with Liverpool "racist" when all they have done is support somebody for NOT being racist. If Suarez came out and said "I called him a spear chucking monkey", do you think Liverpool would have stood by him? Of course they wouldn't, but too many people like yourself think it's clear black or white, he's innocent or guilty, and because he was found guilty, that's it. But Suarez continues to maintain innocence, so why should he do what everybody else wants him to do? He has no responsibility to conform to society's demands, he can do as he likes and if he wants to maintain innocence, he can.

He is a racist, because he admitted to using a racist term. Is it really that difficult to comprehend?
If Suarez would have shook his hand, even if the whole hand shaking thing is ridiculous, a line would have been drawn under the situation. However, he has given the media all the ammunition they need to play this one out. Foolish actions.
