Fully agree.....The art of defending has been completely lost. There isn't a side in the league who actually know how to defend properly, bar Stoke City, who have to rely on their defending for their points, because they are so incompetent in attack....
If any of the present top six could get their defence sorted, to match their attacking prowess, then they would be nigh on unstoppable.
Whilst United should be respected for their lead at the top of the table, I think we'll get a more honest appraisal of their actual quality when they face the top sides in the Champions League - Their defence looked ropey against dross like Braga, God only knows what Barca and Real will do to them?
