No need to be defensive, I just think Scholes, despite having a great career, is nowhere near the level of Barcelona's midfielders and never has been.

I'm not been defensive? I was just replying to your comment which you said in a tone that inferred that you thought Scholes was poop. He's clearly very highly rated by his fellow footballers and has been a great player to watch.

You have to agree that a club of Man Utds stature can't be happy with being so far behind any other club in the world and that they have too many players who just aren't good enough!

To be honest I think it's remarkable that Man Utd won the league and made the CL Final. I really don't see where all this quality is in the Man Utd team that everyone talks about. I honestly thought Man Utd would finish 3rd this season and do nothing in europe.

Have United got out of third gear all season? What could happen if the lads played to their full potential?

Thought Utd turned up and played well for the first half hour or so until Barca got a proper foothold in the game.

On the penalty front wasn't there an almost exactly the same incident involving Evra in the first half that wasn't given?

Utd been successful this year has more being down to the failings of other teams than anything else IMO.

Barca were sensational and were fully deserving of the win and the margin of it.
