the forgetting thing doesn't wash generally - other than in comparison to Negouai

you don't not do drugs tests (unless you are Negouai)

And so you aim towards the sky,
And you'll rise high today,
Fly away, Far away,
Far from pain....

Radio 5 was fun this morning, asking Scousers, Leeds, Chelsea and Arsenal fans if they were supporting Man Utd this weekend. So will you put you allegiance/disdain away for a day and support an English team?

Don't get all this 'backing the English side' nonsense....

Maybe in the good old days you could legitimately back the English club, such as Forest, Liverpool, Villa, or whoever was doing well in Europe, because their sides would be full of British players who you could at least associate with, but nowadays sides like United, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc, aren't English in a way that would make you want to root for them.....They are merely businesses with their HQ's in England.

Saying that, I'm not a massive fan of Barca after their shocking antics in the semi.....As a definite neutral, I'm just hoping for a half decent game and not the one-sided anti-climax of 2009.

Mate, taking diet pills is not regarded as significant as consuming other drugs. Even the PFA is saying it is proprtionate.

Ferdinand was rightfully banned for a longer period. He missed a test. Do you honestly expect that for someone to miss a test with such a lame excuse to be punished less than someone who was caught taking a drug that is not regarded as 'bad' as some others? If you do then someone who has taken anabolic steroids will simply miss a test and take a cleansing agent and not be banned for a significant period. How ridiculous would that be?

Do you know any details of the Negouai case?

There were rumours about the Paddy Kenny case thatican say on here.

What do you mean by taking other drugs? Are the likes of cocaine, ecstasy etc performance enhancing? I wouldn't say so.
Having used diet pills in the past i can state for a fact that they are perfomance enhancing as the majority contain Ephidrine which is a stimulentand is on the IOC list of banned substances (Chris Morley was banned for it's use while at Leigh).

Now what is a worse offence taking something to give you the edge over your rivals or a recreational drug? One is cheating the other isn't.

As for Rio he missed the test but took the test the day after and passed 100% now can you name me a drug that can be in your system one day and no trace the day after? Even the FA admitted that they got it wrong and Rio was the only player to be banned out of 96 players who missed test.

Am looking forward to LFC's next 'Yanks out' campaign. How long will it take you to realise you're being fleeced this time? I'll say about 18 months.

Can I ask what you gain by correctly predicting that Liverpool will get fleeced by the current ownership? Are fans just supposed to be against every owner due to the bad taste left by H&G? Is there anything wrong with people believing that we may actually be in good hands? Or are people supposed to expect the worst, just so you were right all along? Or is this me oozing with bitterness about a game five months ago? Will this post be quoted on the Salford board so everybody can gang up on me?
