Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
If it had been a certain Italian player, playing for a team from Manchester, it would have been a straight red card, a five match ban, a week's inquisition from Sky Sports, and certain areas of the media wanting his head on a spike.

For all his undoubted talent, Suarez really is a horrible little weasel.....Should have been a straight red, no doubts that the red mist came over in the excitement of the comeback, and the kick was a deliberate attempt to hurt Parker....The snidey push in the back just prior to the kick, showed he was upto his little cheating tricks, the kick was just plain nasty and uncalled for.
No doubt the Liverpool fans will plead his innocence....
Don't know what Suarez was doing, very foolish. I'm sure Kenny will have a word about that.
A pretty frustrating night for us, plenty of effort but very little quality in anything that we done. Another draw, which is disappointing. I felt we made a mistake putting Bellamy on the left, Walker's a top athlete and Bellamy's work rate and pace rarely challenged him. I probably would have played Downing on the left with Bellamy on the right, I know Dirk scored the winner against United, but he really did more harm than good tonight, his work rate was first class as always, but his touch and general play was well below the standard.
As a side note, did anybody else cringe for the commentator's love for Spurs? I thought the lead commentator came a couple of times during that game.

I'd give him the benefit of the doubt. After a 9-match ban, I really can't imagine him thinking of kicking a player in the balls as being the smart thing to do. Just seemed a very clumsy kick made to look worse because of where he made contact. The 'snidey push in the back' is the kind of thing that goes on in the penalty area almost every game with every team . Suarez isn't an individual that I like, but if this incident happened in a match between, for example, Wolves and Blackburn, no one would have really cared - it's because of the context, "the racist returns", that people will make a big deal out of it.

Not particularly true, Karl Henry gets butchered if he so much as sneezes at an oppo player

Probably tell him to do it harder next time
