With an previous game i managed to transfer one over no problem. However my history menus was all messed up. Everyone played for albania for ten years etc.

I think you would need to transfer all the other files other than the actual 'saved game' to get full satisfaction from game.

I won the Champions League in my 10th and 11th season with Dudelange of the Luxemburg League on Fifa Manager 08, with something like 5 Luxemburg players and 6 or 7 players who came through my academy, without cheating. Beat that

I won the Champions League in my 1st and 2nd season with Dudelange of the Luxemburg League on Fifa 08, with something like 6 Luxemburg players and 6 or 7 players who came through my academy, 3 6 year-olds, 2 blind men and Robbie Keane, without cheating. Beat that.

I've never played on Fifa manager. Is it better than football manager or not a great deal of difference?

In terms of quality and potential enjoyment, Football Manager is much better. Fifa manager is more enjoyable if you don't fancy something too serious and also don't go on the computer a lot. Football Manager is probably the one worth buying out the two. But if you already have Football Manager and have a bit of spare money, then Fifa Manager is worth buying. Not played on the 2009 version of either though so just comparing the 2008 versions

Also, got offered the England job half way through the season and qualified for Euro 2012 easily enough, and about to start that. I'm 18/1 to win it, although i am ranked 3rd in the world, big odds.
