Agreed.....I was one of those who has slated the lad, but that was a very good stop.

To be fair, he looks a decent shot stopper, his exposed weaknesses have been his lack of stature and inability to dominate his area.....Even today he looked a bit 'flappy' at a couple of crosses, but that save certainly bagged United a point, so fair play to him.

Anyone fancy Jose for the Liverpool job? I can't see RA wanting to admit defeat by inviting JM back so it looks like it would have to be one of the three north west jobs (I'm assuming Everton won't be interested). Is his football attractive enough for United? His chance at City will surely be dependent upon whether the league is won which leaves Liverpool. I think he'd seriously consider it. They've backed Daglish in the transfer market so they'd certainly back JM even if he might be a bit too abrasive. Would the fans take him?

Abramovich can admit he was wrong and bring Jose back, or he can be a complete ****head and allow Citeh or Yanited to take him and watch them win everything over the next few years while we struggle for CL qualification along with Arsenal and Liverpool.

So we're screwed then.

I think Jose at Citeh or United means a decade of dominance for either of them. It wouldn't be the same at the scousers. They're too far away at the moment and they wouldn't have the money to spend to bridge the gap. I also think there would be a lot more supporter objection to him from scousers than there would be from United fans.

Mancini was fired by Inter after winning the title three times. I'm not sure whether Citeh will get rid of him if he brings them their first title.

Bobby Charlton is against Mourinho taking over at United. They don't want to spend the money that Mourinho would probably insist they need to. Ferguson probably wants to stay in the job forever.

I think there's only one club who would be willing to give him the total control he wants and have the cash to do it.

I'm pretty sure that was the reason behind his departure from Chelsea. Can't see Abramovich letting go now.
