For ten minutes last night, I thought wow, this could be something very special for United. Barca's class showed once they got their goal. There is no better side at shutting a game out by holding onto possession, and they destroyed us for 80 minutes.

To finish, what a beautiful ball for Messi's header.

it's the anniversary of the heysel tragedy tomorrow.
i was very surprised when giggs got the award. thought it would have gone to van der sar or even torres, but he wasn't even nominated.

Im aware of that just wondered why it was important to you dont remember you having stuff for the Bradford fire or Hillsborough anniversary, no having a go or anything just curious.

have a mate who's a bcfc season ticket holder and he gets a message every May 11th.
as for heysel i used to live in italy and it's still very raw amongst some people over there.
coming from wigan i have lots of liverpool supporting friends and know many scousers. half the family support liverpool and i know of people who were involved in hillsborough.

doesn't feel right having to justify showing my respects to people who lost their lives watching the game they love, but it looks like that is what it has come to.
