Yes,Spurs would take him and Mr Levy will be trying to lure him to London IMO - it's difficult to show the flair when you essentailly have carp players in due to the lack of finance
performances like that against Man City shows the guy has something - just imagine what he could do with a bank account with some money in it ?
An Everton side without Moyes would have gone down years ago...
All opinions I guess??....Personally, I've never took to his negative style (even when he had cash and had a half decent squad). I'm extremely grateful for him bringing stability to the club, but I find his style of football dull to watch and doubt the Tottenham fans, used to football with flair, would be too impressed with his tactics....It says a lot that in almost 10 years with the club, he has never been able to play with anything but 1 man up front, in a tedious 'grind the opposition down' type of way. Its a fair enough tactic against the Man City's of the world, but against sides of equal standing, on your own ground, its very, very negative.
Must admit though, I'd love to see a 'Job Swap' involving Moyes and Redknapp, just to see how each would fare in alien circumstances....Moyes with cash, Redknapp without.....Harry would definitely be out of his depth and would bottle out of it in about a week....

I might surprise you by saying this, but I don't think Everton's football has always been this negative stuff you talk of. One of the main reasons Moyes has never played 4-4-2 is because of Tim Cahill, who has been an excellent goalscorer playing behind the front man. I remember not too long ago seeing Pienaar and Baines be arguably 'the best left side in the PL', with Baines flying forward and Pienaar cutting in, it was hardly grinding down stuff. I remember seeing the best form of players like Cahill, Osman, Arteta, Yakubu and Fellaini and thinking "they're a decent side who give every side in the league a good game". For me, you were never that negative, you were against us and other big teams, but in the even games you generally played the better stuff. Besides, I think 'negative football' is something that is regular viewing at most clubs in the country. It was argued that Mancini played negative with the dearest squad in the league for crying out loud.
IMO, Moyes has been one of the best Premier League managers for the best ten years. He consistently overachieved with results and transfers, he consistently gave big sides a game and, IMO anyway, he's the best manager outside of the deemed big clubs, i.e. Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Citeh.
Where have you seen it? The only bits I've seen are the bits they showed on the news just, which didn't look that bad at all in terms of actual violence. A reasonable sized pitch invasion and players leaving sharpish, but not being directly threatened. The reports said almost all of those who died were crushed as people panicked and tried to flee, causing a crush.

The clashes left at least 1,000 people injured, 150 of them critically, spokesman Dr. Hisham Shiha said. Most of the injured had concussions and deep cuts, he said.

It has, for the most part, it really has and still is.

Couldn't disagree more. I don't see this 'amazing job' Moyes has done. He hasn't over achieved at all, he's done a solid/good job but nothing more. He's been here almost ten years and in that time he's took us from a side that flirted with relegation to a stable, on average, mid table side. I keep saying this but he's not, now, getting the best out of the squad he has. For me, the only time Moyes has over achieved is when he took a side containing some very average players to fourth place.
4 points behind Chelsea with the best player in the north west coming back from his ban, things are looking up for us. Pity our next game is a Monday night game, I can't recall us ever playing well on a Monday night fixture, fingers crossed Suarez can lead us to victory.

Surely club and international bans must follow??......

For me, Everton couldn't have had a manager do a better job in the same situation, nor could they have played better football. Maybe his time's coming to an end now, but I still think he could go on and achieve with a bigger club, maybe even outside of England if the opportunity came. I remember about three years ago, bluenoses would never shut up about how Moyes would do a better job than Rafa and so on, but now it seems they're not satisfied with what Moyes has done and wanted more and also weren't happy with the football.
